Hola! The names Amy...and this is my page. Duh. hah. I spend my days taking photos for friends. Lately I have been specializing in maternity and new born shoots. I also do a lot of work with boudoir sets. Let me know what you think of my work, good or bad. Comments will only help me become a better photographer
Thanks guys!

Today I was given the most amazing opportunity. A client of mine, who's maternity photos I did a couple weeks ago, phoned me up this afternoon and told me that she would like to document her labor in photos and asked me to be there. I was expecting it to be a few days away still but no. She phoned me 2 hours later telling me her water had broke. So I rushed off to the hospital, extremely nervous, since I had never been around while anyone was going through labor. It was a terrifying, emotional and beautiful experience. I think I may have found my new calling as well. I sat by her side and took photos of her and her husband laughing, crying, and all kinds of emotions I cant even begin to describe. There ended up being complications part way through the labor, so they had to send her for a c-section...and she insisted I come in with her and the father. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, and when they handed their beautiful baby boy over to them to meet for the first time, I caught the most beautiful moment I have ever witnessed. So, Congratulations to Amanda and Aime cant wait to see your little guy again tomorrow and find out his name!
